About Me

I am a Masters student at Carnegie Mellon University, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from PES University.

I recently completed a 15 month co-op with Cisco under the Cisco for Startups team as a Business Strategy and Data Associate, with a focus on co-innovation with climate tech startups. I have also worked with OpsVerse, a DevOps startup, as a Product Intern on enhancing workflow automation, optimizing lead capture mechanisms, and shaping product strategy. I also advocate for underrepresented groups through my Research and Service.

I am passionate about Triple Bottom Line Sustainability and developing innovative yet socially conscious products. My experiences so far have instilled a technology-centric mindset in me: How can I design inherently intuitive technology? How can I strategically position technology in the market? How can I implement sustainable technology?

However, I now find myself urged to flip the perspective and explore how both society at large and the natural environment can influence technology. I want to understand how these dimensions can guide the creation of more responsible innovation.

Welcome to my Sustainable Portfolio

Ever wondered how a website can ❤️ the earth?

  • With every visit, you're part of a low-carbon experience. This site only emits 0.24g of CO2 per page load, making it cleaner than 74% of the web!
  • I've incorporated the 94 W3C Sustainable Web Design guidelines to craft a site that's as kind to the planet as it is to us.
  • Utilizes GitHub's green hosting to further reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Typography matters! I chose system-native fonts like 'Arial' and 'Courier New' for their efficiency, and implemented strategic lazy-loading of images to save bandwidth.
  • I have also adopted an energy-efficient color palette with Carmine accents, Black text, and an Alabaster background avoiding high-energy hues like pure white or blue.
  • Accessibility is a non-negotiable. That's why you'll find adjustable text sizes and a light/dark mode toggle for better inclusivity.
  • The code is optimized and efficient with streamlined HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for top performance and low environmental impact.

Did you know?

The internet currently produces approximately 3.7% of global carbon emissions, which are rising in line with our increasing data consumption.
